Russian President Vladimir Putin has conferred the title of Hero of Labor on Vitaly Smirnov, honorary president of the Russian Olympic Committee. The decree was posted on February 3 on the portal of official publication of legal acts.

Also, the Russian leader awarded the Governor of the Tyumen region Alexander Moor with the Order of Alexander Nevsky for his great contribution to the socio-economic development of the region.
