- Dozens of classes in Lipetsk schools switched to distance learning because of acute respiratory viral infections and influenza

In Lipetsk, 46 classes in 20 schools have been transferred to distance learning due to the incidence of influenza and acute respiratory viral infections. This is reported by the city administration on Monday, February 3.
"This is a temporary measure aimed at preventing the spread of influenza and acute respiratory viral infections among students. In educational institutions are actively taking all necessary measures to protect the health of children," - emphasize the authorities.
As GOROD48 specifies, classes in which 20% and more children were absent due to flu and acute respiratory viral infections were transferred to distance learning. It is expected that children will study at home for 7-10 days.
Against the background of growing incidence of acute respiratory viral infections in Russia, experts warn: children with asthma are in a special risk group. On February 2, Honored Doctor of Russia, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor Olga Zaitseva told Izvestia why an ordinary cold can become a threat to asthmatics and how parents can reduce the risks.
