The Russian Armed Forces destroyed an AFU pickup truck in Kharkiv region with the help of an FPV drone

The Russian military grouping of troops "North" has destroyed a pickup truck of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in Kharkiv Region by FPV drone calculations. This was reported in the Russian Defense Ministry on February 3.

It is specified that with the help of the drone was identified pickup truck of the enemy, which was intended for the transportation of fighters of the AFU.

"The detected target was promptly destroyed by calculations of FPV-drones of the group of troops "North". The means of objective control recorded direct hits on the AFU pickup, explosions and heavy fire," the statement said.

Earlier in the day, the Defense Ministry reported the destruction of a road bridge and a stronghold of the AFU in the South Donetsk direction. The task was performed by artillerymen of the group "Vostok" with the help of self-propelled mortar "Tulpan".

The special operation to protect Donbass, the beginning of which was announced by Russian President Vladimir Putin on February 24, 2022, continues. The decision was taken against the backdrop of the aggravated situation in the region.
