Krasnoyarsk resident took 90 packs of butter from stores

In Krasnoyarsk, a 25-year-old young man will go on trial for stealing almost 90 butter from stores. The investigation of the criminal case has been completed, reports the press service of the regional department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs on Monday, February 3.
In September 2024, representatives of one of the retail chains applied to the front office with a statement. According to them, an unknown man stole 37 briquettes of butter, hiding them in the groove of his jacket.
The criminal investigation officers watched the video from the store and established that the products were stolen by a resident of the regional center born in 2000. The attacker was previously convicted of property crimes. He was detained.
Investigators opened a criminal case under part 1 of article 158 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation "Theft". During the investigation, the police found out that the figure was involved in two more similar crimes. In one case he took out 26 packs, in the other - 24.
In total, the Krasnoyarsk resident took out of retail outlets 87 briquettes of oil for a total amount of about 15 thousand rubles. He sold the stolen goods on the street to strangers for 7 thousand rubles.
Materials of the criminal case have been transferred to the court, writes IA KrasnoyarskMedia. The criminal is awaiting sentencing on his own recognizance.
