Sowing campaign in the Stavropol Territory may start early

Spring sowing in Stavropol Krai in 2025 may start early. The reason lies in a sufficiently warm winter, the press service of the regional Rosselkhozcenter reported on Monday, February 3.

Preparation of sowing material has already started. All seeds should be tested in the district offices of the institution. The yield of the whole season will depend on it.

According to agrarians, peas will be planted first. About 540 tons of seeds have already been checked in Alexandrovsky district. All the seed corresponds to the quality. The plan is to send another 1200 tons of soybeans and 60 tons of spring barley for examination, writes SevastopolMedia IA.
