For several years I have been thinking over the content of the festival and the program of concerts, which would reflect, on the one hand, the steadfastness and courage of our people, and on the other hand - show the tragic trials and pain through which our country went. Gradually, in a joint discussion with colleagues, the idea of a cycle of concert programs "The living echo of past battles" was formed, revealing on the eve of the 80th anniversary of the Great Victory the continuity of eight centuries of heroic national history".
