In Krasnoyarsk region a criminal case has been opened over the death of an infant from a family in which four children died of poisoning. This was reported on February 3 in the press service of the regional Prosecutor's office.
"The criminal case was initiated under part 1 of article 109 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Causing death by negligence")", - stated in the Telegram-channel.
The Prosecutor's office keeps the investigation under control. Preliminary, signs of violent death are not recorded. External and internal injuries, among other things, are not found.
The exact cause of death of the infant will be established after chemical and histological studies.
About the death of a three-month-old baby reported the day before. It was specified that diseases were not diagnosed, the infant was not registered in hospitals.
The poisoning of the spouses and their four children in the village of Krasnaya Sopka, Krasnoyarsk region was reported on September 21, 2024. The family sought medical help at the hospital with signs of nausea and vomiting. As a result of a sharp deterioration of health, the minor brother and sister died. Later, on September 22, the third child died, and on the 23rd - the fourth. In the GSU SK of Russia in the region said that at the time of the incident, the mother of the dead children was nine months pregnant. She and her husband managed to survive.
On December 2 of the same year, the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation reported that the cause of poisoning was the improper use of dichlofos. According to the agency, poisons from dichlofos, which was chaotically sprayed by the head of the family, got on all surfaces of the house and things, which caused the death of minors. The next day, December 3, 34-year-old father of four children, who died of poisoning by dichlofos in Krasnoyarsk region, was charged, the man pleaded guilty in the incident.
Later, on February 3, forensic chemical examination confirmed that the death of the children was caused by acute poisoning by insecticides.
