"Rostec" called the T-90M tank "the smartest" in the zone of air defense in Ukraine

The Russian T-90M Breakthrough has become the most high-tech tank in the Special Military Operation (SMO) zone in Ukraine. This was announced by Rostec State Corporation on February 3.
"One of the key advantages of the tank is the latest fire control system, which allows it to effectively hit targets of different types in a rapidly changing environment," the Telegram channel said.
According to Rostec, the tank is able to flexibly redirect fire to different targets and control the situation on the battlefield. It also quickly navigates in combat conditions and demonstrates high survivability despite the use of various countermeasures by the enemy.
The state corporation added that the Uralvagonzavod Research and Production Corporation (part of Rostec State Corporation), which is engaged in the production of the Breakthroughs, is working around the clock and is increasing the output not only of these tanks, but also of other military equipment.
Earlier, on December 31, 2024, it became known that NPK Uralvagonzavod sent the Russian Defense Ministry the final 2024 batches of T-90M Proryv tanks and modernized T-72B3 tanks. All vehicles were equipped with nets against FVP drones and rubber reinforced protection. The vehicles were also fitted with visibility reduction equipment and electronic warfare systems to counter drones.
Before that, on November 23, Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council Dmitry Medvedev called the T-90M tank the best in the world. He also noted the work of the Uralvagonzavod enterprise, which he visited on the same day. Medvedev emphasized that the plant "is working to a large extent to achieve the goal of the special military operation."
On November 6, Alexander Spiridonov, deputy chairman of the State Duma Committee on Industry and Trade, spoke about the combat superiority of the T-90 tank over its foreign counterparts. According to him, the T-90 tank was created as a competitor to the U.S. Abrams.
