AZAL suspends flights on Baku-Astrakhan route indefinitely

Azerbaijan Airlines (AZAL) suspends all flights on the Baku-Astrakhan route. This was reported in the press service of the organization on February 3.

The flights are suspended for an indefinite period. It is specified that this measure was taken to ensure flight safety.

"Passengers who have tickets for this route are entitled to a full refund or free replacement," - said in AZAL to the portal apa.ru.

Earlier in the day, Rosaviatsia representative Artem Korenyako reported on the introduction of restrictions on the reception and dispatch of aircraft at airports in Astrakhan, Nizhnekamsk, Kazan, Saratov and Ulyanovsk. At the moment the restrictions have been lifted.

Later he announced restrictions at the airports of Vladikavkaz, Grozny and Makhachkala, which were later lifted as well.
