A trout swam away from a fishery in a bay of Lake Ladoga


A trout swam away from the fishery of the Republic of Karelia in Läppiyarvi Bay of Lake Ladoga. This was reported on February 3 in the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia.
In the front office of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation in Sortavala district on Friday, January 30, received a report of damage to the cages in Läppiyarvi in the village of Rautolahti, which are intended for trout breeding.
Due to the damage, the fish were released into the water area. A total of 44 tons of trout have left the bay. The total cost is estimated at 30 million rubles, specifies "Gazeta.Ru" with reference to Telegram channels.
Earlier, on November 19, 2024, the State Duma amended the law providing for the return of planned (raid) tasks by fishery protection inspectors against violators in the field of fishing. It was specified that inspectors will be able to stay at fishing and fish breeding grounds during raids, as well as move around the water area of objects of fishery significance to detect and suppress violations.
