Musk said the new head of the FBI will "clean up the mess" there

American billionaire Ilon Musk said that Cash Patel, who was nominated by US President Donald Trump to head the FBI, will be able to restore order in the US agency. Musk wrote about this in the social network X (former Twitter) on February 3.
So Musk commented on the post with an excerpt from an article by The Washington Times, which claimed that FBI employees are in panic and intend to hold a protest on Monday against layoffs related to the case of storming the Capitol in January 2021.
"Cash will clean up the mess out there," Musk wrote.
On January 28, The Associated Press indicated that the Trump administration had fired dozens of prosecutors involved in the case of the January 6, 2021 storming of the U.S. Congress building and demanded lists of FBI employees involved in the same cases.
Prior to that, on January 20, CNN reported that the US president plans to pardon those convicted of crimes that do not involve the use of force and harming people, as well as commute the sentences of others accused of storming the Capitol.
On January 6, 2021, supporters of then-president Trump stormed the U.S. congressional building to prevent the approval of the results of the November 2020 presidential election. The House of Representatives of Congress passed a majority vote to impeach Trump for sedition. However, in February of the same year, the U.S. Senate acquitted Trump. After taking office as president, Trump signed an executive order pardoning about 1.5 thousand convicted for the storming of the Capitol.
