Aeroflot predicted an increase in ticket prices in 2025

"Aeroflot" expects an increase in the cost of air tickets in 2025 at the level of inflation. This was announced by the company's CEO Sergey Alexandrovsky on Monday, February 3.
"In 2025, we expect the cost to change at the inflation level," he said in an interview with Rossiya-24 TV channel.
In addition, he said, Aeroflot has arranged flights for about 1.4 million passengers as part of subsidized transportation.
In January, Russian President Vladimir Putin instructed to ensure that airlines provide discounts of 50% on air tickets for children under 12 years old. It was specified that it concerns both domestic and international flights. Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin was appointed responsible for the execution of this order.
Before that, the order of the Ministry of Transport on a 50% discount on children's air tickets of Russian carriers came into force. In this case, children under two years of age flying without a separate seat will be able to provide free travel on domestic flights and a discount of at least 90% - on international flights. In addition, airlines must allow children under 12 years of age to sit next to their parents in the airplane free of charge.
