The best sites of the Moscow Estates festival will be determined by the capital's residents

Participants of the project "Active citizen" in a new vote will determine the best sites of the winter festival "Moscow estates", which is held until February 28. Theatrical performances and balls, immersive shows and lectures, excursions and tea parties will be organized for residents and guests of the capital, said Deputy Mayor Natalia Sergunina.

"Muscovites will vote for 19 historical places, such as the estates Vorontsovo, Sviblovo and Lyublino, Stakheev's house and Petrovsky Way Palace. At the same time, we invite you to share your opinion on what events should be emphasized next season: master classes, quests, concerts, performances or other events," she said.

One of the key sites is the Bauman Garden, which in the XVIII century was part of the ensemble of the estate of Prince Mikhail Golitsyn. Here those who wish can try on costumes stylized to match the outfits of the late XIX - early XX century and learn the basics of waltz at dance master classes.

In the park "Ostankino" are invited to see a production based on the famous work "The Nutcracker and the Mouse King", and in the museum-estate "Lublino" - to watch a theatrical performance "Manor Fairy Tale".

At the Sergey Andriyaki Watercolor School, guests will be offered to listen to a lecture about court fashion under Catherine II and Nicholas I.

The festival "Moscow Estates" became a part of the large-scale project "Winter in Moscow" - the main event of the season, which united more than 1.9 thousand locations in different districts.

"Active Citizen" has been working in the capital since 2014. During this time, more than 7 million people have joined it, and more than 7 thousand votes have been held. Every month 30-40 decisions of residents are implemented in the city.
