Russia's air defense forces have shot down a drone of the Ukrainian Armed Forces (AFU) over the Caspian Sea. This was reported by the Russian Defense Ministry on 3 February.

The AFU is trying to strike Russian territories against the background of the special operation in Donbass, the beginning of which was announced on February 24, 2022. The decision was made due to the aggravation of the situation in the region due to shelling by the Ukrainian military.
