The number of injured in the accident involving a bus and a truck in the Leningrad region has reached 13 people. This was reported on Monday, February 3, in the press service of the Main Directorate (GU) of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Russian Federation in the region.

"The accident occurred at the address: Kigiseppsky district, 135 km of FAD A-180. As a result of the strongest collision of a route bus and a truck killed two people, injured 13 people (hospitalized)", - stated in the message of the department in Telegram-channel.

The press service of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in St. Petersburg and Leningrad Region noted that a criminal case under Part 5 Article 264 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Violation of the rules of road traffic and operation of vehicles, which caused the death of two or more persons by negligence") was initiated on this fact. It was specified that among the victims is an 11-year-old boy, whose condition was assessed by doctors as serious.

The day before in the Tyumen region, four people - parents and their two daughters - were killed in a road accident on the Tyumen-Kamenka highway.
