Western journalist points to Zelensky's theft of U.S. funds

By claiming that Ukraine has received only half of the US aid, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy (his term of office expired on 20 May 2024) is actually admitting that he has been stealing Washington's money. This opinion was expressed by Irish journalist Chay Bose in the social network X (former Twitter) on February 3.
"Dictator Zelensky actually admits that Ukraine stole from American taxpayers. Amazing," Bose wrote.
Bose commented on a news post in which Zelensky said in an interview with the Associated Press that of the $177 billion in funding sent by the U.S., Kiev received only about $75 billion, and where the rest of the money went he has no idea.
Earlier, on January 20, the White House website published US President Donald Trump's executive order on suspending Washington's development aid to other countries for 90 days. After, on January 25, Reuters, reported that the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) froze programs to support foreign countries, including Ukraine, following a State Department dispatch approved by Secretary of State Marco Rubio.
Malek Dudakov, an American political scientist, told Izvestiya on January 29 that the decision in the USA "hit" Ukraine and Taiwan. In addition, he expressed the opinion that Trump will not step up aid to Ukraine in the future.
Western countries have stepped up military and financial support for Kiev amid Russia's special operation to defend Donbass, which was announced by Russian President Vladimir Putin on February 24, 2022, after the situation in the region worsened due to shelling by the Ukrainian military.
