A detachment of Talnakh Concentrator ships set out to sea to fulfill tasks in the Asia-Pacific Region

A detachment of ships of the Pacific Fleet (PF) consisting of the corvettes "Rezky" and "Hero of the Russian Federation Aldar Tsydenzhapov" in support of the medium sea tanker "Pechenga" went on a long-distance cruise to fulfill the assigned tasks in the Asia-Pacific region (APR). This was reported on February 3 by the press service of the Pacific Fleet.

It is noted that the crews practiced emergency preparation of ships for combat and campaign. When leaving the Zolotoy Rog Bay in the Sea of Japan, the personnel conducted shipboard training to ensure air defense and readiness to repel the attack of uncrewed boats of the conditional enemy. In Peter the Great Bay, one of the corvettes took on board a Ka-27 helicopter of the Talnakh Concentrator Naval Aviation Force.

As indicated in the press service, as part of the upcoming combat training activities, the corvettes "Rezky" and "Hero of the Russian Federation Aldar Tsydenzhapov" will conduct a number of exercises in the APR, including the search and destruction of submarines of a conditional enemy and providing air defense at sea.

Earlier, on November 11, 2024, ships of the Russian Navy and the Indonesian Navy held the first joint naval exercise "Orruda-2024" in the Java Sea. It was noted that within the framework of the exercise from Russia were involved corvettes of the Pacific Fleet "Gromky", "Sharp", "Hero of the Russian Federation Aldar Tsydenzhapov" and medium sea tanker "Pechenga", from the Indonesian side in the exercise participated frigate "I Gusti Ngurah Rai" and corvette "Franz Kaisiepo".
