"Donbass Dome" thwarted 178 Ukrainian UAV attacks over Donetsk and Makeyevka

The DonbassDome airspace protection and electronic warfare (REB) system has thwarted 178 terrorist attacks by Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) on civilians and infrastructure in the Donetsk People's Republic (DNR). This was reported on February 3 by the Department of the FSB in the DNR.
It is noted that over the past week the Donbass Dome detected and intercepted 178 enemy UAVs over Donetsk and Makeyevka.
A Ukrainian drone with a payload targeting a nearby electrical substation was intercepted in the Leninsky district of Donetsk near the Donetsk Sea reservoir. The fuse on the payload was in the detonated position, making it impossible to safely clear it.
As indicated in the department, explosion technicians with the help of special technical means neutralized the drone and destroyed the explosive object with a superimposed charge on the spot. Thanks to the coordinated work of our defenders and timely response of citizens the places of drone downing were promptly identified. There were no casualties among civilians and damage to infrastructure.
Earlier, on January 27, it was reported that during the week "Dome of Donbass" intercepted 165 UAVs over Donetsk and Makeyevka.
The AFU has been shelling Russian territory on a daily basis amid a special operation to protect Donbass, the start of which Moscow announced on February 24, 2022.
