Forecasters predicted snow and icy conditions in Moscow on February 3

Cloudy, light snow, icy in some places and up to +1 degree - such weather expects residents of the capital region on Monday, February 3. The corresponding forecast is published on the website of the Hydrometeorological Center.

The air temperature in Moscow during the day will range from -1 to +1 degrees. At night, the thermometer columns will drop to -4.

In Moscow region during the day forecasters promise from -4 to +1 degrees, and at night the temperature may fall to -7.

A south and southwest wind with a speed of 3-8 m/s is expected.

Atmospheric pressure will be 748-749 mm of mercury column.

Earlier, on February 1, the scientific head of the Russian Hydrometeorological Center Roman Vilfand said that in the first days of February in Moscow will return "a semblance of winter", the air will cool down to -9 degrees Celsius. According to him, on Monday and Tuesday, February 3 and 4, the temperature values will be negative. In addition, the forecaster noted that since Wednesday, February 5, a sharp increase in pressure is expected in the capital, which will also affect the weather. Thus, if February 3-4, snow will fall - up to 1-2 cm, the next days will be mostly without precipitation. Then on February 5-7, against the background of high pressure, the sun will appear in the city, the expert admits.
