Three people killed in oxygen cylinder explosion in Belarus

In Belarus, three people, two of them children, were killed as a result of an oxygen cylinder explosion in the yard of a private house. This was reported in the press service of the IC of the republic on February 2.

"In the village of Lugovaya Virnya, Zhlobin district, there was an explosion, presumably an oxygen cylinder, in the yard of a private house. As a result of the incident killed a 35-year-old man and two young children (1 and 3 years old)", - stated in the message of the press service in Telegram-channel.

It is specified that in the house was also the mother of the children and another child of six years. They were hospitalized, their condition is assessed as serious.

Also in the IC noted that a total of four children were raised in the family. One was not hurt, because he was in Zhlobin at the time of the explosion.

Specialists are working at the scene of the incident. Additional circumstances of the incident are being established.

Earlier, on November 17, 2024, it was reported that three people, including a child, died in the village of Sabyndy, Akmola region of Kazakhstan because of the explosion of a gas cylinder in the building of the former mosque.
