A multi-storey residential building caught fire in Sochi

In the village of Razdolie in Sochi, a house caught fire in the area of the residential complex "Ministerial Lakes", the footage of the emergency on February 2 published by eyewitnesses in social networks.

The footage shows the fire engulfed the roof of the building. Having received a signal about the fire at 18:29, firefighters of the Sochi fire and rescue garrison immediately went to the scene of the emergency.

"Upon arrival to the place of the first units established that there was an ignition of a two-storey private residence tentatively on an area of 300 square meters", - reported there.

Earlier in the day, the Russian Emergencies Ministry reported a fire in Cherkessk in the apartment of a multi-storey building on the second floor, which occurred due to the fault of domestic cats. The area of the fire amounted to 36 square meters. The Ministry of Emergency Situations specified that the ignition occurred after the animals knocked over the cooler and water flooded the extension cord. Rescuers evacuated two women and five animals.
