Neighbor calls mystical the string of deaths in dichlorvos poisoned family

Victor, a neighbor of a family from the Krasnoyarsk village of Krasnaya Sopka, called the series of children's deaths mystical. He said this to "Izvestia" on February 2.

Earlier that day it became known that the couple had a three-month-old baby died. Before that, in September 2024, they lost four children due to poisoning with dichlophos.

Victor called their apartment a crypt.

"I don't understand it at all. They seem normal, they work. It's either mysticism, or someone put a spell on them or something else. He says that they woke up, and the child is dead, even cold," - said the neighbor of the couple.

Zoya Turova, a pensioner living nearby, shared that she rarely saw the couple. Only from the journalists of the publication neighbors learned that the woman gave birth, no one had seen her pregnant, she stressed. According to her, the adults did not socialize with anyone, but their children sometimes came to play with her grandchildren.

"Not once have they been seen drunk. He came from work by car, closed up. They are on their own, lived 11 years in this apartment, never once talked to anyone," Turova said.

The poisoning of the spouses and their four children in the village of Krasnaya Sopka, Krasnoyarsk region, was reported on September 21, 2024. The family sought medical help at the hospital with signs of nausea and vomiting. As a result of a sharp deterioration of health, the minor brother and sister died. Later, on September 22, the third child died, and on the 23rd - the fourth. In the GSU SK of Russia in the region said that at the time of the incident, the mother of the dead children was nine months pregnant. She and her husband managed to survive.

On December 2 of the same year, the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation reported that the cause of poisoning was the improper use of dichlofos. According to the agency, poisons from the product, which was chaotically sprayed by the head of the family, got on all surfaces of furniture, as well as on things.
