Russian Armed Forces destroy Ukrainian drone "Baba Yaga" in Kharkiv region

The Russian Armed Forces (AF) have shot down the Ukrainian army's Baba Yaga unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) using an FPV drone in the skies over Kharkiv Region. The Russian Defense Ministry published footage of the combat mission on February 1.
The footage shows an FPV drone destroying a drone right in the air.
Servicemen of the Russian group of troops "North" continue to destroy drones of the type "Baba Yaga" of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the special operation zone.
The group's drones are on round-the-clock duty in the sky over Kharkiv region, identifying and destroying the enemy's attack drones.
The destruction of the target was recorded by objective control means.
On January 31, Oleg Fyodorov, general director of the drone development company FROBOTICS, told Izvestia that Russian fighters in the SSO zone received a new heavy tactical FPV drone Ilya Muromets. Its main advantage is flexible frequency tuning, which helps bypass foreign electronic warfare (EW) systems, he noted.
Before that, on January 30, special forces of the Rosgvardiya shot down a Ukrainian drone of the "Baba Yaga" type in Kharkiv region. It was reported that the AFU military attempted to attack infrastructure facilities in the Belgorod region, but the Rosgvardia shot down the UAV launched from Ukraine with an accurate sniper shot.
The special operation to protect Donbass, the start of which Russian President Vladimir Putin announced on February 24, 2022, continues. The decision was taken against the backdrop of the aggravated situation in the region.
