The Moscow Lightning Skating Festival will be held at VDNH

The Moscow Lightning Skating Festival will be held on February 15 at VDNKh as part of the "Winter in Moscow" project. The program includes competitions, contests, lottery, quizzes on sports topics and a concert, the official website of the mayor of the capital reports.

The festival will start at 11:00. Those wishing to participate in skating races will be divided into age groups: babies - up to eight years old, children - 9-13 years old, juniors - 14-19 years old, adults - 20-39 years old, masters - 40 years old and older.

Each participant will receive a commemorative souvenir, and the winners will receive prizes and gifts. You can register on the spot.

In between amateur competitions professionals will demonstrate their skills. Entrance to the festival is by ticket to the VDNKh skating rink.

The project "Winter in Moscow" is the main event of the season, which unites various events of the capital until February 28. Citizens and tourists are invited to remember traditions and history, warm themselves with tea and hot plushies, skate, watch ice performances, make gifts to people who find themselves in a difficult life situation, show care for those who need it.
