In Turkey, one person was killed and 19 injured when a bus collided with a truck


One person was killed and 19 others were injured in a collision between an intercity bus and a truck in southeastern Turkey. This was reported by Haber Global on February 2.
The accident occurred earlier in the day on the highway near the town of Nurdagi. As a result of a collision with a bus, the truck demolished a passenger car.
According to the publication, the vehicles caught fire after the collision. Rescuers were able to put out the fire an hour after arriving on the scene.
The victims were taken to the hospital. It is specified that the bus driver's assistant could not be saved.
Earlier, January 25, more than 20 people were injured in an accident involving a bus, which was going to the festival in the Turkish city of Izmir. It was reported that the driver lost control on the slippery road caused by rain, which caused the vehicle to plunge into a ditch.
