A woman and a child died in a fire in the Irkutsk region. This was reported on February 2 by the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia in Telegram-channel.

It is noted that the fire occurred in a private house in the Novo-Irkutskiy neighborhood. Open burning on 150 square meters eliminated 22 specialists and 7 units of equipment. A fire testing laboratory and a psychologist of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia are working on the site. When extinguishing the employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia found the bodies of a 51-year-old woman and a 10-year-old boy.

As indicated in the press service of the Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee (IC) of Russia for the Irkutsk region, law enforcement agencies are currently establishing the causes and conditions of the incident

"On this fact, the investigative Department of the Irkutsk district of the Investigative Committee of the IC of Russia for the Irkutsk region initiated a criminal case on the signs of a crime under part 3 of article 109 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (causing death by negligence of two persons)," - stated in the Telegram-channel of the department.
