A three-month-old baby died in a family living in the village of Krasnaya Sopka in Krasnoyarsk Krai, where four children died of poisoning in September 2024. This was reported on February 2 in the regional Prosecutor's office.
"The Prosecutor's office organized an inspection in connection with the death of a three-month-old child in the village of Krasnaya Sopka. Today in the early morning in the village of Krasnaya Sopka died a three-month-old child. The body was found in the crib by his mother. Preliminary, traces of violent death is not established", - stated in the message in the Telegram-channel.
The prosecutor's office specified that the child was breastfed, no diseases were diagnosed, was not registered in hospitals. As noted by the mother of the child, she did not change her usual diet.
The causes and conditions of the incident are being established. A procedural check is organized. The question of initiation of criminal proceedings on causing death by negligence under Article 109 of the Criminal Code of the RF is being decided.
Also the State Investigative Committee of the Investigative Committee of Russia for Krasnoyarsk Krai and the Republic of Khakassia is conducting an investigation into the death of a young child.
The poisoning of a family with four children in the village of Krasnaya Sopka, Krasnoyarsk Krai was reported on September 21, 2024. The family sought medical help at the hospital with signs of nausea and vomiting. As a result of a sharp deterioration of health, the minor brother and sister died. Later, on September 22, the third child died, and on the 23rd - the fourth. In the GSU of the Investigative Committee of Russia for the region said that at the time of the incident, the mother of the dead children was nine months pregnant.
On December 2 of the same year, the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation reported that the cause of poisoning was the improper use of dichlofos. According to the agency, poisons from dichlophos, which was chaotically sprayed by the head of the family, got on all surfaces of the house and things. According to experts, insecticides on clothes, toys, household items caused the death of minors. The next day, December 3, the 34-year-old father of four children, who died of dichlofos poisoning in Krasnoyarsk region, was charged, the man pleaded guilty to the incident.
