- Passengers on the Dubai-Sochi flight were held at the UAE airport for more than 12 hours

Passengers of the flight Dubai - Sochi could not leave the airport in the United Arab Emirates for more than 12 hours. This was reported to Izvestia on February 2 by passenger Thomas Chelokyan.
"In general, we were put on the plane, further we were dropped off the plane. Held captive in the buffer zone, no one knew. When we would be released, no one knew what was going on. The representative of the airline did not come," said Chelokyan.
He specified that after repeated complaints from passengers, they were supposedly to be taken to the hotel, but this was denied. The passengers tried going to the police, but there were no people at the local police station.
"We went, somewhere around 10-15 people, to this police station. And what do you think? There was no one there," the passenger noted.
According to the online scoreboard on the airline's website, the plane left for Sochi. Passengers plan to file a collective complaint against the carrier for poor service.
Earlier, on January 29, it was reported that the plane, flying on the route Dubai - Moscow, gave a distress signal when flying over the Caspian Sea. The model of the plane, according to the service, is Boeing 737. Later it became known that it landed safely in Astrakhan.
