Ukrainian media reported explosions amid an air alert near Sumy


Explosions were heard near the city of Sumy in Ukraine amid an air alert. This was reported on February 2 by the Ukrainian TV channel TSN.
"Sumy/r-n - explosions", - said in the message of the TV channel in Telegram-channel.
According to the online map of the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine, an air alert was declared in the Kiev, Mykolayiv, Chernihiv, Poltava, Dnipropetrovsk and Kharkiv regions.
The Russian Defense Ministry did not comment on the information about the explosions.
Earlier in the day, the Ukrainian mass media reported that explosions occurred in Kiev Region amid an air alert.
On the eve it was reported that explosions were heard in Kiev, Poltava and Kharkiv regions. The Kiev-appointed head of the Zaporizhzhya regional state administration Ivan Fedorov specified that facilities in Ukrainian army-controlled areas were damaged.
Russian troops in October 2022 began strikes on military control facilities and related energy and communications facilities in Ukraine. As explained by Russian President Vladimir Putin, this was in response to terrorist actions by the Kiev regime, particularly at the Crimean Bridge.
