In St. Petersburg there was an accident involving a police car after a chase

In St. Petersburg there was a traffic accident involving police after a car chase of a driver who tried to escape from law enforcers. This was reported by a source of Izvestia on February 2.

"The patrol saw a suspicious car, tried to stop it. But instead of parking, the driver hit the gas," the source pointed out.

The chase of law enforcers after the violator did not last long. After that, there was a traffic accident with the participants of the chase, and the offender was detained at the intersection of Parashyutnaya and Dolgoozernaya streets.

Earlier, on February 1, in St. Petersburg there was an accident involving a police car, a truck and a minibus on Moskovskoe highway. One policeman was killed and five other people were injured.
