Dagestan school director suspended over teachers' brawl

In Dagestan, the headmaster of a school in the village of Hlyut was temporarily suspended after a fight between teachers. This was reported in the press service of the administration of Ritulsky district on February 1.

Earlier, a video depicting a fight between two teachers in a Dagestani school was circulated on the Web. The situation reached the republic's Education Minister Yakhya Buchayev, who personally visited the school to look into the circumstances of the incident.

"Following a review of the situation, it was decided to suspend the school director for the period of investigation. The Ministry of Education will study all materials in detail and make a final decision in accordance with established regulations and requirements," the press service of the district administration said in its Telegram channel.

Also in the press service added that the temporary suspension is not a final decision, as all the circumstances of the situation are not established, it can be reviewed and challenged.

Earlier, on December 7, it was reported that a student of the 9th grade of MOU "Koverninskaya secondary school № 1" in the Nizhny Novgorod region broke the nose of the English teacher. It is specified that the injury received by the teacher was qualified as severe.
