Russian Defense Ministry tells about the feats of Russian servicemen in the NWO zone

On February 2, the Russian Defense Ministry told about the exploits of Russian servicemen in the zone of the special military operation.
The ministry noted that a group of attack aircraft under the command of Sergeant Sergei Grishin received a combat mission to capture a stronghold of Ukrainian Armed Forces (AFU) fighters near one of the settlements.
Grishin identified ways of stealthy approach to the enemy position, after which the sergeant independently uncovered the locations of observation posts, and the group began the offensive. The sergeant, acting bravely and decisively led the small arms battle. Unable to withstand the active pressure of the Russian attackers, the Ukrainian fighters retreated. Grishin's group occupied the point and organized defense of the occupied positions.
Thanks to Grishin's courage and bravery, the group accomplished its task of taking the enemy stronghold without suffering any casualties. This allowed the Russian servicemen to continue an active offensive deep into the defense of the AFU fighters and liberate the nearby village.
In addition, the Defense Ministry pointed to the actions of Sergeant Alexei Lomakov, who as part of the logistics brigade was carrying out tasks to deliver ammunition and foodstuffs to the positions of Russian troops located in close proximity to the line of contact.
During another transportation, Lomakov's vehicle was attacked by an FPV drone. The serviceman managed to steer the vehicle away from the flight path of the unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) and deliver the materiel to the Russian servicemen in a timely manner.
Earlier, on February 1, the Russian Defense Ministry reported that operators of unmanned aerial vehicles of the motorized rifle regiment of the Dnipro group of troops destroyed dugouts and infantry of the AFU on the Orekhovsky direction in Zaporizhzhya region.
The special operation to protect Donbass, the beginning of which Russian President Vladimir Putin announced on February 24, 2022, continues. The decision was made against the background of the aggravated situation in the region.
