An earthquake has occurred in Poltava in Ukraine. This was reported on February 1 by the Ukrainian publication "Public".
"The earthquake was felt in Poltava," - said in Telegram-channel.

Later in the state service of Ukraine on emergency situations confirmed that there was an earthquake in the Poltava region. Preliminarily, there are no casualties.
"According to the main center of special control, there was an earthquake in Poltava region. At 18:21 (local time, 19:21 Moscow time - Ed.) between Poltava and Reshetilovka there was an earthquake with magnitude 3.67. The tremors were recorded at a depth of 3 km", - indicated there.
The day before, on January 31, an earthquake with a magnitude of 5.5 occurred in Ecuador. The epicenter of the seismic event was located 70 km northeast of the city of Ambato with a population of about 154 thousand people. The origin lay at a depth of 10 km.
