Ukrainian media reported explosions in AFU-controlled Kherson

Explosions have been heard in the Kiev-controlled city of Kherson. This was reported by the Ukrainian TV channel "Public" on February 1.

"Explosions are heard in Kherson," - said in a message published in the Telegram-channel.

The Russian Defense Ministry did not comment on the information about the explosions.

Earlier in the day, Ukrainian media reported about explosions in Kiev, Poltava and Kharkiv regions. At the same time, the Kiev-appointed head of the Zaporizhzhya regional state administration, Ivan Fedorov, also reported strikes on infrastructure.

The special operation to protect Donbass, the start of which was announced by the Russian president on February 24, 2022, continues. The decision was taken against the backdrop of the worsening situation in the region.
