One of the performers of the hit "Sigma Boy" Betsy (real name - Svetlana Chertischeva) would like to record a joint song with American singer Billie Eilish, as well as with the band Imagine Dragons. About this she told "Izvestia" on February 1.

"From foreign artists - Bbno$, Imagine Dragons, for example, or Billie Eilish," she said when asked who she would like to collaborate with.

According to her, the listed bands and artists have good music that people around the world like. Betsy also stated that the release of her new song is coming soon.

"I have a new song coming out soon, 'Queen of drama' it's called, and there will be a fit with a big artiste afterwards, I can't tell you which one yet," the singer said.

Her father, composer and music producer Mikhail Chertischev said that at the moment they are deciding which record company they will sign a contract with. Among the options are labels Universal, Warner and Sony. According to him, there was an offer to create a remix from French music producer and DJ David Guetta. Chertishchev specified that they would also be interested to cooperate with a Russian performer who has achieved success abroad.

He also commented on the proposals of MEPs to cancel the track because of the alleged propaganda of patriarchal views.

"We didn't really catch what propaganda is going on there, patriarchal some kind of story, because we didn't touch on patriarchal meanings," said the father of the Russian singer.

Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova called the reaction to the song in Europe a manifestation of Russophobia, while Alternative for Germany (AdG) MP Yevgeny Schmidt told Izvestia that the case was an example of anti-Russian propaganda in the EU.

The song "Sigma Boy" by young Russian singers Betsy and Maria Yankovskaya was released in October 2024. It quickly gained popularity on social networks. In January, the track took the seventh line of the Billboard international music chart. The composition entered the ranking of pop music and dance songs.
