Sobyanin announced the work of field schools of restoration in the regions


Moscow will organize the work of visiting restoration schools in Russian regions, said the mayor of the capital Sergey Sobyanin.
Students studying in such fields as "Architecture", "Architectural Restoration", "Artist-Restorer" and "Reconstruction and Restoration of Buildings and Structures" will be able to study there. Selection to the schools, the idea of which was proposed by the Union of Restorers of Russia, will be based on a competition, the mayor said.
"Training will take place at cultural heritage sites, museum and diocesan foundations," Sobyanin wrote in his Telegram channel. - Young specialists will get practical skills in surveying monuments, restoring the interiors of mansions, restoring sculpture and painting."
According to the mayor, 12 events are expected to be held this year, including in Moscow, St. Petersburg, Sevastopol, Nizhny Novgorod and Tomsk regions.
Sobyanin also reminded that since 2011 in Moscow restored more than 2.3 thousand objects, in the work - about 400 more monuments of architecture. "The share of objects in good and satisfactory condition has increased from 61% to 96.8%," he noted.
