Rospotrebnadzor has taken control of the situation with the possible arrival of dangerous carbonated drinks on the Russian market after the appearance of data that the manufacturer of drinks Coca-Cola recalls its products in Europe because of toxic substances. This was reported in the agency on February 1.

To date, the products of this manufacturer have not been found in the Russian market. At the same time, the agency knows that one of the individual entrepreneurs of Yakutsk received a batch of drinks from Belgium on January 18. This was immediately reported to the Department of Rospotrebnadzor for the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia).

"It turned out that the said entrepreneur is engaged in another type of activity, not related to trade, does not have retail stores, Coca-Cola products did not purchase and did not supply to Russia. In the system "Honest sign" information about these products is not available", - explained in the Telegram-channel of Rospotrebnadzor.

Earlier, on January 28, it was reported that Coca-Cola recalls products in Europe due to high chlorate content. Representatives of the company noted that we are talking about significant volumes. The recall concerns products of brands Coca-Cola, Sprite, Fanta in cans and bottles. The measures apply to drinks produced from November 2024.
