Five people detained in Astrakhan after beating up a law enforcer


Five people were detained in Astrakhan on suspicion of beating up a law enforcement officer. This was reported on February 1 in the SU of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation in the region.
"According to the investigation, in the evening of January 26, 2025, a company of five people, being near one of the houses on the street Admiralteyskaya Kirovsky district of the city of Astrakhan, surrounded a law enforcement officer, gave him many blows with hands and feet in the area of the head and torso, and then fled," - specified the press service of the department in Telegram.
January 30, the suspects were detained for committing a crime under Part 2 of Article 318 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Use of violence against a representative of authority"). The investigation continues.
Before that, on January 14, it was reported that in Magadan three men staged a shooting and attacked police officers. According to the IC, one of the law enforcers shot at the attackers in response.
A day earlier it was reported that the investigation opened a criminal case against a foreign citizen on the fact of attacking people at the airport of Krasnoyarsk. According to preliminary data, the attacker suddenly stabbed several blows with a knife to the 39-year-old victim.
