A resident of Sevastopol was fined Br50 thousand for promoting the ideology of Childfree. About it on January 31 reported in the press service of the Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in the city.

"In Sevastopol on the materials of the police, the court appointed a fan of Childfree a fine of 50 thousand rubles for propaganda of the attractiveness of the refusal of childbearing", - stated in the message of the press service in the Telegram-channel.

It is specified that she was fined because she did not remove ideology-promoting materials from her social networks after the law was signed on the prohibition to promote the ideas of child abandonment.

Police officers drew up an administrative report under part 3 of Article 6.21 of the Administrative Code of the Russian Federation ("Propaganda of non-traditional sexual relations and (or) preferences, gender reassignment, refusal to procreate").

Earlier, on November 23, 2024, Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a law on fines of up to 5 million rubles for propaganda of the ideology of refusal to procreate (Childfree). According to the law, the fine for citizens will be from 50 to 100 thousand rubles, for officials - from 100 to 200 thousand rubles, for legal entities - from 800 thousand to 1 million rubles.
