A train fatally ran over a man in the Novosibirsk region


In the Novosibirsk region, a man was fatally hit by a train. This was reported by the transport police of Siberia in the Telegram-channel on February 1.
It is specified that the incident occurred at the crossing of stations Krahal - Vostochnaya in the area of the stopping point "38th kilometer".
"A 51-year-old man, ignoring safety rules, walked on the inter-track. The driver, seeing the man, gave a warning sound signal and applied emergency braking. The pedestrian did not react to the approaching train, the collision could not be avoided", - stated in the message of the transport police.
As indicated in the agency, the victim died of his injuries before the arrival of an ambulance.
Earlier, on January 14, a passenger train hit a 14-year-old teenager to death in St. Petersburg. It is established that the train hit the young man at Tsarskoye Selo station in the city of Pushkin. The victim tried to provide medical aid, but the injuries were incompatible with life. A criminal case has been opened on the grounds of a crime under part 2 of article 263 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Violation of the rules of safety of movement and operation of railway transport, causing death by negligence").
