There were six people on board the airplane that crashed in Philadelphia. This was reported on January 31 in the U.S. Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).

"There were six people on board," - said in a statement of the Department.

According to the TV channel Fox News, oxygen tanks on board the plane may have exploded.

The downing of the plane in northeast Philadelphia became known earlier in the day. The incident occurred in the area of Roosevelt Boulevard and Cottman Avenue. The cause of the downing of the airplane is still unclear. According to the U.S. Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), the plane was en route to Springfield-Branson Airport in Missouri.

Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro indicated that the aircraft that crashed was a small private jet. He said rescuers are being provided with all necessary resources. According to the mayor of Philadelphia, several homes and cars were damaged in the plane crash.
