Several houses and cars were damaged as a result of a plane crash in Philadelphia. This was reported on January 31 by the mayor of the city Sherelle Parker.

It is noted that there are no reports of casualties among the residents of the city at the moment.

"At this time we have no reports or number of victims ... We want to note that several dwellings and vehicles were damaged," - reported during the briefing.

The downing of an airplane in northeast Philadelphia was reported earlier in the day. The incident occurred in the area of Roosevelt Boulevard and Cottman Avenue. The cause of the downing of the airplane is still unclear. According to the U.S. Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), there were two people on board. The plane was en route to Springfield-Branson Airport in Missouri.

Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro indicated that the aircraft that crashed was a small private jet. He said rescuers are being provided with all necessary resources.
