An airplane fell near residential buildings in the northeast of Philadelphia. This was reported on January 1 by CBS News television channel with reference to the police.

"According to police, there were two people on board the plane. Police added that there are other injured people on the ground," the publication said.

The crash started a fire that engulfed several homes.
