UAV operators destroyed dugouts and infantry of the AFU in Zaporizhzhya region

Operators of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) of the motorized rifle regiment of the Dnipro group of troops have destroyed dugouts and infantry of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the Orekhovskoye direction in Zaporizhzhya Region. This was reported by the Russian Defense Ministry on February 1.
"Each calculation is engaged in its own business. My calculation is engaged in observation. We identify targets, enemy rotation, correct artillery, aviation. The most difficult thing is to work at night. Now weather conditions sometimes do not allow," said the head of the UAV calculation with the call sign Zamok.
The agency noted that the operators work day and night under any weather conditions. They go to the positions and fulfill combat tasks. The calculations of reconnaissance drones conduct surveillance, search for targets and transfer enemy coordinates to the command center. In turn, the UAV strike teams strike the identified targets, including shelters, dugouts, firing points, personnel and equipment of the AFU.
Thanks to the successful and professional actions of drone operators, Russian servicemen are able to carry out combat missions in close proximity to the enemy.
Earlier, on January 31, the Defense Ministry reported that a 152-millimeter Msta-B howitzer of the Center group of troops destroyed an AFU stronghold on the Krasnoarmeyskoye direction of the special military operation.
The special operation to protect Donbass, the start of which Russian President Vladimir Putin announced on February 24, 2022, continues. The decision was made against the backdrop of the aggravated situation in the region.
