Russian Defense Ministry tells about the feats of Russian servicemen in the NWO zone

On February 1, the Russian Defense Ministry told about the exploits of Russian servicemen in the zone of the special military operation.

The ministry noted the actions of junior sergeant Aleksandr Kolyadin, who transported personnel to the combat area. During the attack of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) fighters on the stronghold of Russian servicemen, the fighter volunteered to carry reinforcements to his comrades.

While performing the assigned task, the junior sergeant's vehicle was attacked by an enemy FPV drone, Kolyadin promptly extinguished the fire and drove to the designated point.

Thanks to Kolyadin's competent and decisive actions, a group of Russian fighters was quickly moved to a critical area, which played a key role in successfully repelling the enemy attack.

In addition, the Defense Ministry pointed out that Guards Private Viktor Ryzhkov performed the tasks of installing mine and explosive barriers in the directions where enemy tanks often go. Working in tandem with his comrade Alexander Vasiliev, he was tasked to ensure that a passage in a tank ditch near the positions of Ukrainian fighters was mined.

The sappers were able to plant four mines and moved to a safe place. Their movement was noticed by the AFU militants and they began firing mortars at the Russian servicemen. As a result, Ryzhkov's comrade was wounded in both legs. After giving him first aid, they continued their movement and reached the Russian positions.

As a result of the group's skillful and selfless actions, the next day a foreign-made infantry fighting vehicle was destroyed on an emplaced minefield and casualties were inflicted on the enemy's manpower.

Earlier, on January 31, the Russian Defense Ministry reported that a 152-millimeter Msta-B howitzer of the Center group destroyed an AFU stronghold on the Krasnoarmeyskoye direction of the special military operation.

The special operation to protect Donbass, the beginning of which Russian President Vladimir Putin announced on February 24, 2022, continues. The decision was made against the background of the aggravated situation in the region.
