The Ministry of Labor has prepared a bill on payments to heroine mothers

The Ministry of Labor has prepared a draft law which introduces in 2025 a monthly payment of 72,400 roubles for women who have been awarded the title "Heroine Mother". The corresponding draft federal law was published on the federal portal of draft regulatory legal acts.

Thus, according to the document, last year the size of the monthly cash payment amounted to 66.1 thousand rubles. In 2025, women will be paid Br72.4 thousand, in 2026 - Br75.6 thousand, in 2027 - Br78.6 thousand. It is assumed that the payment will be annually indexed from February 1. Thus, it is proposed to provide women who have been awarded the title "Heroine Mother" with social guarantees on a par with the Heroes of Labor of the Russian Federation.

The press service of the Ministry of Labor specified that the payment will be appointed without request on the basis of data on the awarding of the title "Heroine Mother". Women who were awarded the title before the entry into force of the federal law, it is proposed to assign the payment from January 1, 2025.

In this case, the recipients of the payment, as well as in the case of payment to Heroes of Labor, will be able to replace it with a set of social services, including free provision of medicines, exemption from utility bills, free travel in public and intercity transport and a number of other support measures.

Earlier, on January 25, Russian President Vladimir Putin instructed the government to provide women, awarded with the title "Heroine Mother" from 2022, the same social guarantees that are provided to Heroes of Labor of Russia.

On December 30, 2024, the head of state honored mothers of many children and families from 19 regions with state awards. So the title "Heroine Mother" was awarded to four women from St. Petersburg, Voronezh, Vladimir and Tver regions.

Before that, on December 20 last year, Putin instructed to extend to mother-heroines the benefits of Heroes of Labor of the Russian Federation. He noted that heroine mothers in Russia have the same high status as Heroes of Labor, but the material support of these titles is different.
