The doctor told about the benefits of rose hips for cancer prevention


Allergologist Vladimir Bolibok said that the use of various plant products to improve health has scientific confirmation.
In a conversation with Radio 1 on January 30, the specialist said that a fine chemical analysis showed that rosehip berry contains 48 substances, among which were jaceosidine and cirsiliol. Rosehips are also a major source of vitamin C and beta-carotene, a provitamin A.
Bolibok noted that all of these compounds discovered in rose hips are found in small amounts. Therefore, to get an anti-cancer effect, it is necessary to make special concentrates. He emphasized that rosehip unambiguously improves health.
Traditionally it was brewed with boiling water, infused and drunk as an infusion, but now it is used to make jams and syrups.
Last February, nutritionist Natalia Gridina recommended rosehip infusion and ginger tea to strengthen immunity. Among other drinks, she also mentioned sea buckthorn tea and cranberry morsels. In addition, tea with lavender will help to calm down after a hard day, relieve accumulated fatigue and normalize sleep.
