Open burning after a UAV attack on the Sibur-Kstovo plant has been extinguished


Firefighters have managed to extinguish open burning at the Sibur-Kstovo plant in the Nizhny Novgorod Region, where a fire broke out after a Ukrainian drone attack. This was reported in the press service of the government of the region on January 31.
"According to the information of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia in the Nizhny Novgorod region, at the moment the open burning has been eliminated," - indicated there.
About the fall of unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV)debris on the territory of the enterprise "Sibur-Kstovo" in the Nizhny Novgorod region was reported earlier, on January 29. The incident caused a large fire. The company's press service specified that Sibur-Kstovo personnel were not injured.
On the same day, the governor of Nizhny Novgorod region Gleb Nikitin reported that a fire occurred in Kstovo industrial zone as a result of the fall of UAV debris.
The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) are trying to strike Russian territories amid the special operation in Donbass, the start of which was announced on February 24, 2022. The decision was taken due to the aggravation of the situation in the region due to shelling by the Ukrainian military.
