Expert gives advice on setting work goals for the year

After New Year's holidays and weekends, many people are thinking about their work goals for the coming year. HR Director of DIDENOK TEAM Anastasia Alekseeva told Izvestia on February 2 how to do it correctly.
The expert advised to start by analyzing the past year.
"Answer yourself the following questions: what do you consider your main achievement, what work situation caused you the most difficulties and why, what points of growth would you note, what competencies you lacked, what would you like to continue doing this year, and what functionality would you like to leave in the past?" - she said.
Alekseeva recommended that all answers should be recorded in writing. The results of this self-reflection should result in a small essay, which will become the foundation for setting goals for the future.
"Next, let's dream. Think about who you are in December 2025. What are your daily tasks, what position do you hold, what is your area of responsibility? Based on the answers you get, start setting goals - write down specific steps with approximate timing and results you want to achieve. And remember, an important criterion for any goal is its achievability. Therefore, working goals should be "down-to-earth" and realistic", - concluded the expert.
Earlier, January 15, it was reported that every third Russian respondent (28%) planned to change jobs in 2025. This was stated in the results of the study of the Russian School of Management. Among the most frequent reasons for such a decision are named low wages (so answered 47% of respondents), lack of opportunities for professional growth (45%), lack of career prospects (39%), dissatisfaction with management (24%), dissatisfaction with the team (8%).
