The Ministry of Justice of the Russian Federation has included Vadim Zitser, a teacher and founder of the school "Apelsin", in the list of foreign agents. This follows from the release published on January 31 on the website of the ministry.
In addition, the list of foreign agents included journalists Vladimir Raevsky, Ilya Abishev, Andrei Novashov, Dmitry Sukharev, Elizaveta Fokht-Babushkina and blogger Antov Suvorkin.
"On January 31, 2025, in accordance with the orders of the Ministry of Justice of Russia, I.E. Abishev, V.S. Zitser, A.V. Novashov, V.E. Raevsky, A.V. Suvorkin, D.V. Sukharev, and E.A. Fokht-Babushkina were included in the register of foreign agents", - stated in the publication.
It is specified that they, in particular, took part in the creation and distribution of materials of foreign agents. In addition, they disseminated misleading information about the policy of state bodies and opposed the Special Military Operation (SMO).
As indicated, Zitser currently resides outside of Russia.
Earlier, on July 11, 2024, Zitser was declared wanted. It was specified that against the teacher was initiated a criminal case under part 2 of article 207.3 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Public dissemination of knowingly false information about the use of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation"). He faces up to 10 years of imprisonment.
